Night owls have ranked the city that never sleeps unique and most favoured when it comes to nightlife, according to a new study.

A survey conducted by Hotels.com found travellers from around the world ranked the Big Apple as the world’s best city when it comes to night time entertainment, while gamblers’ paradise, Las Vegas came in second best.

Los Angeles also made the list sitting at ninth favourite for evening entertainment, however, European cities dominated the top ten list with London coming in third favourite followed by Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam and Madrid.
